The traditional collection (Cyclonic Vacuum with a canister to be removed and dumped) established the standards for performance and filtration in the central vacuum industry. Here is how the triple filtration system works:
- The first dust barrier consists in the simple cyclonic circulation of air. The centrifugal force directs the dust and dirt particles to the bottom of the canister. When the canister is full you then remove and dump it out.
- The machine washable pre-filter catches any remaining fine dust particles.
- Finally, the exclusive Cyclofiltre, treated with Ultra-Fresh to prevent the growth of mold, fungus and bacteria, captures the micro particles. Conveniently, the filters are also machine washable.
- For enhanced filtration, there are models with a patented carbon dust filtration system.
Cyclonic filtration and Cyclofiltre with Ultra-Fresh: The unique triple filtration system ensures continuous and reliable filtration of household dust and allergens. CycloVac's Traditional Collection features a unique triple filtration system, which ensures the separation of dust from the air, and deposits residues in the bottom of the vacuum unit's canister. The Traditional collection also features two machine washable filters for superior efficiency: a prefilter, which captures the larger dust particles and is further supported by the unique Cyclofiltre which traps micro particles as small as 0.1 micron.
